Driving back fast and furious, stopping briefly to say good bye to my babies one night after Day of the Dead parade Portland style. The plan was to then have lunch in Ashland where we ran the risk of getting stuck in the melee of the annual Halloween Parade. Thus, moving onward toward San Francisco. Late night Pho in the Mission amongst so many fancy freaks was very entertaining. Yet not nearly as good as my friend playing cello for me at midnight before a 3AM tour of Microsoft campus Palo Alto. Early up (did I sleep?) straight through to Pasadena where I cooked for the first time in weeks before leaving my travel mate for Day of the Dead party at Hollywood Forever with AbracadAbby. It was a great party.
